Special Needs Trust Protect Disabled Children and Adults

A special needs trust is a type of trust that helps protect the financial interests of a disabled child or adult who has special needs.  The main goal of this type of trust is to enable the disabled person to receive benefits of a trust at the same time as he or she is on Medi-Cal or SSI.   In essence, it protects the eligibility of the child in inheriting, and in litigation proceeds.

While there are many ways to protect your child, you should consider a special needs trust, if your child will require lifetime care.   Our goal is to help you plan your estate at the same time as you find ways to protect your child.

Simply, we make sure your child does not lose his or her government benefits, and is able to enjoy his/her inheritance via a special needs trustee.    Talk to us about options for protection.
